CSV bulk update guide

Bulk update lets you edit many products at once. Always start from a fresh BevEx export — do not create CSV files from scratch, and do not upload an Excel workbook.

Workflow

• On Products, open Bulk update and download Export products.
• Optionally download the Classification reference for allowed values (including packaging per product area).
• Edit only the editable columns (display name, price, ABV, volume, classification, listed for sale, description).
• Save the file as CSV (Comma delimited). Excel .xls / .xlsx files are not accepted.
• Upload the file to preview every change before anything is saved.
• Review the preview, then confirm to apply valid changes.

Important rules

• Do not change reference columns (product_id, motus_product_id, motus_code, name, synced stock).
• Upload a .csv file only. Excel workbooks (.xls, .xlsx) are not accepted — in Excel use File → Save As → CSV (Comma delimited).
• Do not change reference columns (product_id, motus_product_id, name, synced stock).
• Maximum file size 2 MB and 5,000 rows.
• Use yes/no for listed for sale values.
